Arushi is a driven, operationally-minded leader who founded Buildwell Holdings to acquire, lead, and grow one exceptional business for the long term.

Arushi was raised in Edmonton, where she developed a strong work ethic and an appreciation for what it takes to build something from the ground up. She pursued a B.Sc. in Engineering at the University of Alberta, and upon graduation, spent her first three years working in the manufacturing sector serving Oil & Gas clients, gaining hands-on experience in operations, product management, and industrial leadership within a Fortune 100 company.

To broaden her skillset, Arushi transitioned into strategy and operations, where she advised mid-market private equity clients on M&A due diligence and business transformation. She went on to hold senior leadership roles across a range of high-growth technology companies, working directly with CEOs and executive teams to drive performance and deliver results. Most recently, she had the opportunity to serve as a senior leader at a Fortune 500 enterprise software company, where she helped unlock $25M in new revenue.

Prior to founding Buildwell Holdings, Arushi completed her MBA at Harvard Business School. Her conviction for the search fund model runs deep. Her husband is a two-time searcher who successfully acquired and exited a business through the same process, giving her firsthand insight into what it takes to do this well.

Outside of work, Arushi enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Intro Call

Through a 30-minute video chat, we'll get to know each other, talk at a high level about your business, discuss your succession goals, and determine mutual fit. In-Person Meeting

Tired of Zoom? Us too. We are ready to hop on a plane and come meet with you in-person to learn more about your business and your goals. Around this time, we will request basic financial information about the business, which will help us communicate a ballpark value for your business.

Letter of Intent

During this process, we may request additional information about the company. If we are interested in moving forward, we'll submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) to closely review financials, legal, operations, strategy, and transition plan. We will work together to agree on terms and sign the LOI. Our goal is to arrive at a price and structure that is favorable for you.

Due Diligence

After an LOI is signed, we start the legal documentation process. During this time, we will also continue to learn more about the business and complete our final diligence. You will get transparency and authenticity from us throughout the process.

Close & Celebrate

On the day of closing, we will sign final docs, wire you funds, and celebrate together! A post-close plan will be in place to seamlessly transition the company forward.

Buildwell Holdings offers a unique entrepreneurial succession plan. Our founder, Arushi Jyoti, is prepared to dedicate her career to honoring the legacy of one business. If you are looking for a trustworthy successor who will care for your employees, customers, and community, not just the financials, we may be the right fit.

We are very flexible with respect to your role and we will discuss this early on. We would step into the CEO seat on Day 1, but would ideally like a transition period of 6–12 months where you support the handover. Afterward, you may remain involved as an advisor, take on a part-time role, or step away entirely, whatever works best for you.

We want to keep your existing team and grow alongside them. A big part of what makes us different is that we deeply value the positive impact your business has had on your employees, customers, and local community. Protecting that is a core part of our commitment.
